CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS POLICY
Invite Technologies Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to maintaining a safe platform and has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. This Child Safety Standards Policy explains our standards, prohibitions, reporting mechanisms, and enforcement practices related to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Our services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to create accounts or access our services, except as specifically provided in our Minor Creator Participation Policy below. Regardless of user age, we strictly prohibit any conduct or content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors and comply with applicable child safety laws and platform requirements, including Google Play's Child Safety Standards.
Scope
This policy applies to all users, content, interactions, and activities on or through our services, including any user-generated content such as messages, profiles, images, videos, comments, or other media. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Definitions
For purposes of this policy:
-
Child or Minor means any individual under the age of 18, or under the age of majority as defined by applicable law.
-
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to any act, attempt, or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, harms, or endangers a child. This includes grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, and exploitation of minors.
-
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) refers to any content that depicts, describes, or represents a minor in a sexually explicit or exploitative manner, including images, videos, text, audio, live streams, illustrations, or digitally created content.
Zero-Tolerance Policy for CSAE and CSAM
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward CSAE and CSAM. The following are strictly prohibited on or through our services:
-
Creating, uploading, sharing, distributing, requesting, or possessing CSAM.
-
Any sexualized content involving a minor, whether real or perceived.
-
Grooming, coercion, solicitation, or attempts to engage a minor in sexual activity.
-
Sextortion, blackmail, or threats involving minors or content featuring minors.
-
Facilitating or promoting child trafficking or sexual exploitation.
-
Using the platform to identify, contact, or arrange meetings with minors for exploitative purposes.
Any such activity may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities.
Minor Creator Participation Policy
While our platform is designed for users 18 and older, we recognize that brands may engage minor creators (individuals under 18) for legitimate promotional campaigns. When minors participate in campaigns facilitated through our platform, the following requirements apply:
Parental/Guardian Involvement
-
All campaign agreements involving minor creators must be executed by the minor's parent or legal guardian.
-
The parent or legal guardian must maintain an active account on the platform and serve as the primary point of contact for all campaign-related communications.
-
We require documented consent (via our Minor Creator Consent Form) before any minor may participate in a campaign.
Content Standards for Campaigns Featuring Minors
-
All content must be age-appropriate and consistent with the minor's established content style.
-
Brands may not request content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits the minor in any way.
-
We reserve the right to decline or terminate any campaign that we determine is not in the best interest of a minor participant.
FTC Disclosure Requirements
All campaigns involving minor creators must comply with FTC endorsement guidelines, including:
-
Clear and conspicuous disclosure of the material connection between the minor creator and the brand (e.g., #ad, #sponsored, or equivalent platform-native disclosure tools).
-
Disclosure must appear in a location and format that is easily noticeable and understandable to viewers.
-
The parent or legal guardian must confirm, as part of the Minor Creator Consent Form, that they understand the disclosure obligations and will ensure compliance.
Compensation and Legal Compliance
-
We do not process payments directly to minors; all compensation is directed to the parent/guardian account holder.
-
Brands and parents/guardians are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable child labor and entertainment laws, including Coogan Law trust account requirements and work permit obligations where applicable.
Platform Role Disclaimer: Invite Technologies Inc. operates as a platform connecting brands and creators. We do not employ minor creators, verify the existence or terms of Coogan Law trust accounts, collect or review work permits, or otherwise supervise the employment relationship between brands and minor creators. Responsibility for compliance with employment, tax, and entertainment industry regulations rests solely with the contracting brand and the minor's parent or legal guardian.
Age Verification and Account Requirements
Standard Users: Our platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, users represent and warrant that they are at least 18 years old.
Minor Creator Accounts: Where a minor is participating in campaigns as described above, the account must be held and operated by the minor's parent or legal guardian. The minor does not hold a direct account.
Verification: We reserve the right to request documentation to verify user age or parental/guardian status at any time. Failure to provide requested verification may result in account suspension or termination.
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
We encourage users, parents, guardians, and third parties to report any suspected CSAE or CSAM immediately. Reports may be submitted by:
